prajās taṃ dīpa-balibhiḥ sambhṛtāśeṣa-maṅgalaiḥ /
abhīyur mṛṣṭa-kanyāś ca mṛṣṭa-kuṇḍala-maṇḍitāḥ //

4. His subjects went forth to meet him with torches, with articles of worship, with all auspicious things accompanied by beautiful maidens adorned with highly wrought ear-rings.
