gṛheṣu vartamāno 'pi sa sāmrājya-śriyānvitaḥ /
nāsajjatendriyārtheṣu niraham-matir arkavat //

52. Though a house-holder endowed with the splendour of imperial majesty, he was like the sun free from attachment to the objects of sense and (also) free from Ahankara.
