tāvan na yoga-gatibhir yatir apramatto % yāvad gadāgraja-kathāsu ratiṃ na kuryāt //
A renunciant, even if vigilant, should not [rely] only upon the attainments of yoga
so long as he does not develop loving attachment to the narrations of Gadāgraja [Kṛṣṇa].
