tato vihata-saṅkalpā kanyakā yavaneśvaram /
mayopadiṣṭam āsādya vavre nāmnā bhayaṃ patim //

23. (Thus) disappointed, the maid then resorted to the lord of Yavanas as instructed by me and chose for her husband one who was called Bhaya (Fear).
