supti-mūrcchopatāpeṣu prāṇāyana-vighātataḥ /
nehate 'ham iti jñānaṃ mṛtyu-prajvārayor api //

71. In sleep, in swoon, and in the grief bereavement, the passages of the Prana, *i.e.*, the senses being suspended, the notion of 'I' does not arise, as also when overtaken by Mrityu (Death) and Prajvara.
