bahv evam udvigna-dṛśocyamāne janena dakṣasya muhur mahātmanaḥ /
utpetur utpātatamāḥ sahasraśo bhayāvahā divi bhūmau ca paryak //

12. When the people with their bewildered vision were thus wildly talking about it, there appeared frequently on earth and in the heavens and on all sides most terrible ill-omens in thousands, which filled even the great Daksha with fear.
