jāye uttānapādasya sunītiḥ surucis tayoḥ /
suruciḥ preyasī patyur netarā yat-suto dhruvaḥ //

8. Uttānapāda had two wives Suniti and Suruchi; and (of the two) Suruchi was more beloved of her lord; (but) not the other whose son was Dhruva.
