ekas tvam eva bhagavann idam ātma-śaktyā $ māyākhyayoru-guṇayā mahad-ādy-aśeṣam &
sṛṣṭvānuviśya puruṣas tad-asad-guṇeṣu % nāneva dāruṣu vibhāvasuvad vibhāsi //

7. Thou art the one, O glorious Lord, who, by Thy own power called Māyā characterised by the great guṇas, createst the world consisting of the Mahat and other principles, and who having as Antaryamin entered into it, seemest to be many and different in association with the gross senses of Māyā just as fire seems in relation to different kinds of fuel (wood).
