svasty astu viśvasya khalaḥ prasīdatāṃ dhyāyantu bhūtāni śivaṃ mitho dhiyā /
manaś ca bhadraṃ bhajatād adhokṣaje āveśyatāṃ no matir apy ahaitukī //
9. “May the Universe be happy! the wicked be blessed with a pure heart! May (all) beings pray for one another’s welfare and success! May our mind be inclined to dwell on good and our thought be disinterestedly set on the Lord Adhokshaja!
