na tathā hy aghavān rājan pūyeta tapāadibhiḥ /
yathā kṛṣṇārpitaprāṇastatpuruṣaniṣevayā //

16. O king, a sinful person is not indeed purified so surely and thoroughly by his Tapas and other means as a person who devotes himself life and soul to Sri Krishna does by service to His devotees.
