gurvagnyatithivṛddhānāṃ śuśrūṣuranahaṅkṛtaḥ /
sarvabhūtasuhṛt sādhurmitavāg anasūyakaḥ //

57. Untouched by pride he devoted himself to the service of his preceptors, sacred fire, guests and aged men; he was a friend to all beings; righteous, sparing in words and free from jealousy.
