grāmyairmanoramaiḥ kāmaiḥ prasīdeta yathā tathā //

64. He proceeded to propitiate her alone with all his ancestral wealth and with vulgar courses of pleasures fascinating to the vulgar, so that she might be pleased with him (so as to win her favour).
