tān akṣatān svastimato niśāmya śastrāstrapūgairatha vṛtranāthāḥ /
drumairdṛṣadbhirvividhādriśṛṅgair avikṣatāṃstatrasurindrasainikān //

27. Then observing (the gods) Indra’s fighting men safe and unhurt by all the volleys of the weapons as well as by the trees, rocks and various mountain-crests hurled at them, the Asuras led by Vrithra were filled with consternation.
