dharmaṃ vaḥ śrotukāmena yūyaṃ me pratyudāhṛtāḥ /
eṣa vaḥ priyamātmānaṃ tyajantaṃ santyajāmy aham //
7. The Rishi said:— Eager to learn the truth of righteousness from you, you were refused (were given a refusal). Here am I to give away the body which is sure to leave me and which is desired by you (as useful).
