yathā dārumayī nārī yathā patramayo mṛgaḥ /
evaṃ bhūtāni maghavannīśatantrāṇi viddhi bhoḥ //
10. Like a woman (a doll) made of wood and like a beast (puppet) acting under the force of a spring, creatures are, O Indra, under the control and guidance of the Supreme Being.
