ātmānaṃ prakṛtiṣvaddhā nidhāya śreya āpnuyāt /
rājñā tathā prakṛtayo naradevāhitādhayaḥ //

18. A king ought to entrust himself directly into the hands of his Prakritis and enjoy the regal prosperity; so also the Prakritis having their grievances redressed by their king should find happiness.
