kasmin janmany amī mahyaṃ pitaro mātaro 'bhavan /
karmabhirbhrāmyamāṇasya devatiryaṅnṛyoniṣu //

4. The Jiva said:— In what life were these fathers and mothers to me, who am being tossed by force of Karma through different species of gods, beasts and men.
