6.16.40

jitamajita tadā bhavatā yadāha bhāgavataṃ dharmamanavadyam /
niṣkiñcanā ye munaya ātmārāmā yamupāsate 'pavargāya //

40. Thou art the foremost, O Ajita. Then Thou provedest Thyself to be foremost when Thou taughtest the pure righteous course towards the Supreme Lord; since the sinless sages, Sanatkumāra and others, finding their delight in Paramātman, adopt that course for salvation.
