yathā vastūni paṇyāni hemādīni tatastataḥ /
paryaṭanti nareṣvevaṃ jīvo yoniṣu kartṛṣu //
6. Just as gold and other articles of merchandise go from one place to another, and from one dealer to another, so the Jiva wanders through very many bodies and lives.
