hataputrā ditiḥ śakra pārṣṇigrāheṇa viṣṇunā /
manyunā śokadīptena jvalantī paryacintayat //

23. Sri Suka said:— Diti who had her sons killed by Vishnu, helper (ally) of Indra from behind, burned with wrath kindled by grief and pondered over it (revolved thoughts in her own mind).
