sāṃvatsaraṃ puṃsavanaṃ vratametadaviplutam /
dhārayiṣyasi cet tubhyaṃ śakrahā bhavitā sutaḥ //
54. If thou wilt observe for a year without any defect this vow called Pumsanana (yielding a son), a son able to slay Indra will be born to thee.
