bhaktimān bhagavaty āśu māhātmyaśravaṇāddhareḥ /
anutāpo mahān āsīt smarato 'śubhamātmanaḥ //

26. And as he listened to the glories of Hari he at once conceived intense devotion to the Almighty Lord and great was his repentance as he remembered his sinful folly.
