ṛṇaistribhiramuktānāmamīmāṃsitakarmaṇām /
vighātaḥ śreyasaḥ pāpa lokayorubhayoḥ kṛtaḥ //
37. O sinful one, thou hast spoiled their welfare in both the worlds, when they have not (as yet) discharged their three-fold debt (Rishis, Devas, and Pitris) and have not investigated into the course of Karma, righteous as we are.
