vidikṣu dikṣūrdhvamadhaḥ samantād antarbahirbhagavān nārasiṃhaḥ /
prahāpaya lokabhayaṃ svanena svatejasā grastasamastatejāḥ //
34. May the most powerful Narasimha (as also Prahlada) protect us, removing the fear of the world by means of His roar and having eclipsed all the luminaries by His own splendour!; may He protect us in all the four directions, in all the four corners, above and below, on all sides, in and out.
