kṛtānta iva lokānāṃ yugāntasamaye yathā /
viṣvag vivardhamānaṃ tamiṣumātraṃ dine dine //
13. Like the god of Death who may appear unto beings at the destruction of the world, people saw him growing every day in every direction to the extent of an arrow's throw.
