eka eva caredbhikṣurātmārāmo 'napāśrayaḥ /
sarvabhūtasuhṛcchānto nārāyaṇaparāyaṇaḥ //

3. Alone he should go about accepting only alms, finding delight in his own self, unsheltered, friend to all beings and devoted wholly to Narayana with a serene mind.
