purāṇyanena sṛṣṭāni nṛtiryagṛṣidevatāḥ /
śete jīvena rūpeṇa pureṣu puruṣo hyasau //
37. All these bodies going by the name of men, beasts and birds, Rishis and the gods, are created by Him and it is He who in the form of Jiva dwells in these bodies and hence called Purusha.
