naitādṛśaḥ paro dharmo nṛṇāṃ saddharmamicchatām /
nyāso daṇḍasya bhūteṣu manovākkāyajasya yaḥ //
8. For men who are intent upon (pursuing) the true course of Dharma there is no higher Dharma or righteous course that can be compared to this—to refrain from inflicting injury on any being.
