8.11.34

yena me pūrvamadrīṇāṃ pakṣacchedaḥ prajātyaye /
kṛto niviśatāṃ bhāraiḥ patattraiḥ patatāṃ bhuvi //

34. That *Vajra*, by which formerly, when the people were in peril, I cut off the wings of mountains which flew with wings and settled down on the earth here and there with their weight;
