manurvivasvataḥ putraḥ śrāddhadeva iti śrutaḥ /
saptamo vartamāno yastadapatyāni me śṛṇu //

1. Sri Suka said:—The son of Vivasvat, the Manu, is the well-known Sraddhadeva. He is the Seventh and present Manu. Hear of his descendants.
