Bhagavatapurana 8.19.39

8.19.39

satyaṃ puṣpaphalaṃ vidyādātmavṛkṣasya gīyate /
vṛkṣe 'jīvati tan na syādanṛtaṃ mūlamātmanaḥ //

39. It should be known that satya is said to be flowers and fruits of the tree of self; when the tree is not living, that cannot be, and therefore Anrita is the support of self (body).
