satyaṃ bhagavatā proktaṃ dharmo 'yaṃ gṛhamedhinām /
arthaṃ kāmaṃ yaśo vṛttiṃ yo na bādheta karhicit //
2. Bali said:— What thy worship says is true; this is the duty of house-holders, which does not in any manner interfere with their wealth, enjoyment, reputation and living.
