kriyamāṇe karmaṇīdaṃ daive pitrye 'tha mānuṣe /
yatra yatrānukīrtyeta tat teṣāṃ sukṛtaṃ viduḥ //
31. If, when any religious observance is performed to propitiate the gods or pitris or men, this account is repeated and sung that would be most auspiciously and completly done.
