tamātmano 'nugrahārthaṃ prītyā matsyavapurdharam /
ajānan rakṣaṇārthāya śapharyāḥ sa mano dadhe //
15. Not knowing Him to be the Supreme Lord who, out of love, had assumed the form of a fish to show His grace unto himself, the king thought of protecting the fish.
