mukhato niḥsṛtān vedān hayagrīvo 'ntike 'harat //

8. A powerful Asura, by name Hayagriva, who was near by, carried away the Vedas, which issued from the mouth of Brahma who was by force of time overtaken by sleep and was inclined to doze away.
