8.3.1

/0 śrībādarāyaṇiruvāca
evaṃ vyavasito buddhyā samādhāya mano hṛdi /
jajāpa paramaṃ jāpyaṃ prāgjanmany anuśikṣitam //

1. Śrī Śuka said:— Having thus concluded by force of reason and steadied his thought in his mind, he mentally repeated the most sacred prayer, which he had learned in a previous life. 2. Gajendra said:—Salutation to the Glorious and Perfect One, to whom we would mentally offer our worship and render obedience, who is the source of all this intelligent creation, the Supreme Person (pervading all the bodies as the cause), both Prakriti and Purusha and the Ruler of Rulers.
