/0 śrīśuka uvāca
pīte gare vṛṣāṅkeṇa prītāste 'maradānavāḥ /
mamanthustarasā sindhuṃ havirdhānī tato 'bhavat //
Śrī Śuka said:
When the poison was drunk by the bull-bannered [Śiva], the gods and Dānavas were delighted;
they quickly churned the ocean, and from it arose the source of sacrificial offerings [the cow Surabhi].
