9.10.20

jaghnurdrumairgirigadeṣubhiraṅgadādyāḥ % sītābhimarṣahatamaṅgalarāvaṇeśān //

Aṅgada and the others slew with trees, mountains, clubs, and arrows / Rāvaṇa’s generals, whose good fortune was destroyed by the violation of Sītā.

rakṣaḥpatiḥ svabalanaṣṭimavekṣya ruṣṭa $ āruhya yānakamathābhisasāra rāmam &

Seeing the destruction of his own army, the enraged lord of the rākṣasas / mounted his aerial vehicle and rushed against Rāma;

21. Observing the loss of his army the chief of the Rakshas (Ravana), greatly enraged, mounted his vehicle and directly made towards Rama who was shining pre-eminent in the radient chariot of the celestial world brought down by Matali and struck Rama with knife-like missiles.
