gādherabhūn mahātejāḥ samiddha iva pāvakaḥ /
tapasā kṣātramutsṛjya yo lebhe brahmavarcasam //
28. Of Gadhi was born a son of very great power, brilliant like the flaming fire, who by his tapas rose from his Kshatriya state and attained to the glory of the brahmin (sage).
