9.20.29

bharatasya mahat karma na pūrve nāpare nṛpāḥ /
naivāpurnaiva prāpsyanti bāhubhyāṃ tridivaṃ yathā //

29. Other kings of the past did not attain to the eminence of Bharata in respect of sacrificial duties and the future kings too will never, just as one cannot climb up to heaven with his arms.
