vasustasyoparicaro bṛhadrathamukhāstataḥ //

4. Of Samvarana by Tapati, daughter of Surya, was born Kuru, the lord of Kurukshetra who had four sons named Parikshit, Sudhanus, Jahnu, Nishadhasva. 5. The son of Sudhanusha, Suhotra, his son Chyavana; his son Kriti; and his son was Uparicharavasu whose sons were Brihadratha and others.
