ye mātrā bahirutsṛṣṭe jarayā cābhisandhite /
jīva jīveti krīḍantyā jarāsandho 'bhavat sutaḥ //
8. Those two parts were cast away by the mother, but united by Jara who sported with them, saying "Live, live": thus the son Jarasandha was born.
