duṣmantaḥ sa punarbheje svavaṃśaṃ rājyakāmukaḥ /
yayāterjyeṣṭhaputrasya yadorvaṃśaṃ nararṣabha //

17. His son Tribhanu and his son the noble-minded Karandhama; his son was Maruta who, being childless, regarded as his son Dushyanta of Pooru's family. 18. That Dushyanta again returned to his own line for the sake of the throne, O great king, the family of Yadu, the eldest of the sons of Yayati.
