śaryātirmānavo rājā brahmiṣṭhaḥ sambabhūva ha /
yo vā aṅgirasāṃ satre dvitīyamaharūcivān //

1. Sri Suka said:—Saryati, a king of Manu's race, was (D. became) a great scholar in the Vedic lore and it was he who, in the great sacrifice of Angiras, explained the ritualistic course of the second day.
