9.4.2

bhrātaro 'bhāṅkta kiṃ mahyaṃ bhajāma pitaraṃ tava /
tvāṃ mamāryāstatābhāṅkṣurmā putraka tadādṛthāḥ //

2. "O brothers, have you set apart a share for me?", said Naabhaaga "We give thee our father", said they. [Accordingly Naabhaaga the father went over and said to his son who was a Brahmacharin]. "O father, elder brothers have given thee to me as my share" said Naabhaaga; the father said, "O son, do not put faith in their words".
