taistasya cābhūt pradhanaṃ tumulaṃ lomaharṣaṇam /
yamāya bhallairanayaddaityān abhiyayurmṛdhe //

17. With them he had to fight a close, hand to hand and terrible battle, (which causes one's hair to stand on end) and with his Bhallas sent to Yama those Daityas who came to attack him in battle. (D. fought).
