trasaddasyuritīndro 'ṅga vidadhe nāma yasya vai /
yasmāt trasanti hyudvignā dasyavo rāvaṇādayaḥ //
33. O son, Indra gave him another name ‘Trasaddasyu’ (he who terrifies thieves), because rogues like Ravana and others tremble at the name of Mandhata and are filled with fear.
