Here and there in the expanse of the sky, like the lord of the stars [the moon], being worshipped along the path with rows of celestial chariots by the chiefs of the immortals, and being sung of on every road in hosts by troops of Siddhas, Gandharvas, Sādhyas, Cāraṇas, and sages, illuminating the valley of Gandhamādana, he drew near.
