Ah, what austerity has this ascetic earth practiced, that by bearing the rows of very tiny, beautiful, and most auspicious hoof-prints of this modest fawn, it indicates the path to his treasure for wretched, distressed me who am bereft of wealth, and everywhere makes itself a delightful sacrificial ground for twice-born men desiring heaven and liberation?
