40. & 41. And having entered the beautiful city adorned with many entrances and portals, decorated with flags and festoons, with floors moistened and kept clean, bowed to and worshipped by the great Yadus who waited on Him with offerings of betel-leaf, wreaths of flowers, sandal and pigments and Akshatas, with trumpets and other auspicious instruments played upon, holy texts being loudly sung, Sri Krishna went into the celestial court-hall of Sudharma attended by the wise and the elders.
